The amphitheater features Ship Rock and Creation Rock, which stand at three hundred feet each and help create the amazing acoustics. Fillmore Auditorium

The Capitol Hill neighborhood of Denver is home to another beautiful live music venue whose history dates back to the early 1900s. The Fillmore Auditorium was constructed from 1905 through 1907 and originally opened as The Mammoth Roller Skating Rink. Over the course of the theater’s history, it has been renovated three times and has operated as a live music venue since 1999 when the first concert was performed by the Trey Anastasio Band. Since then, the medium-sized venue has hosted acts including Umphrey’s McGee Marilyn Manson, James Blunt, and more. Upcoming shows include artists such as 3 Door Down, Alice in Chains, Slash, Dashboard Confessional, Mac Miller, Elvis Costello, and Dua Lipa.

Gothic Theater

Visitors who head to the Englewood neighborhood of Denver can enjoy another famous live music venue that has a beautiful art deco décor. The Gothic Theater was built in the 1920s as a movie theater that showed talkies, and over the years received some refurbishments that made it more appropriate as a live music venue. Relatively small in size, this intimate venue is the perfect location to enjoy live music, and guests can take in the amazing décor including impressive artwork on the walls that brings the art deco history of the location to life. Fiddler’s Green Amphitheater

In addition to Red Rocks Amphitheatre, there is another outdoor venue in Denver where concertgoers can enjoy live music. Fiddler’s Green Amphitheater showcases the intense beauty of the Rocky Mountains in a location that was commissioned by the Museum of Outdoor Arts in 1982. The project was to create a large-scale earth sculpture, and the venue feels like a living art installation that guests can enjoy along with the music. Concertgoers can listen to a show while also wandering through Marjorie Park where art offerings and installations are scattered throughout. With a capacity of over seventeen thousand, Fiddler’s Green Amphitheater draws some popular musical acts in addition to big crowds. Paramount Theatre

Another live music venue in Denver has stood the test of time and remained in operation since the 1930s. The Paramount Theater was built in 1930 by Temple Buell for Publix Theatres and features a gorgeous art deco décor that reflected the popular designs of the artist in the Denver area. Concert goers will love to check out the Zig Zag Art Deco design that can be found throughout the interior of the theater.
